Comments	Today I used a different razor and blade combination: my Wolfman WR-2 SB SS 1.05 with a Personna Medical Prep Blade. As usual, this combination resulted in a close and smooth shave. Today’s brush is the first Paladin brush I acquired: a Paladin PK 47. I got this brush several years ago in the Sue Auction. The Monsavon soap is rapidly being used up. Also, I left it uncovered for a few days and now it started to crack. Back to placing the cover. Anyway, it was a perfect shave.

First time trying out a new blade. I was surprised how different the shaving itself felt. Seems as if I got some more rough spots than with the previous blades so i had to do a touch up pass. But I intend to go through at least 5 blades to see, if practice will get the results to be better. Mild alum feedback pretty much all over and a slight sensation of warmth on the skin post shave. Very excited for this new step in my wet-shaving journey!

If you have read my last two posts in this thread, I have had a couple of bad shaves recently. I tried again with the same Wilkinson Sword I failed with last time, so shave two for it if you can call my last debacle a shave. It did not cut, it did not irritate, because it did not cut and I therefore had a latter of hair between it and my skin.

I took out the blade and switched to an old standby, safe but decent, blade and had a perfectly good shave.

Weird that I had two extremely dull blades in a row from two different manufacturers.

Another sweet Vintage Gillette Sunday morning, this time with my Blue Tip. It's rated as the least aggressive of the Super Speed Trio - Blue Tip/Flare Tip/Red Tip - and it's still a very nice shave and capable of not only a smooth shave but certainly close enough for my needs.
The Stirling Christmas Eve soap has been a disappointment, if only because it's lacking much scent.
But a wonderful shave anyway.

Sunday Schick shave, November 17th 2024

Razor : Schick injector, E type + Canadian variat. Mfg 1930's-40's, made to last generations. Excellent metal folding and stamping technology for that time period.
Blade : SChick injector(3) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : TOBS Herbal Sandal wood cream, Very nice scent of herbs and sweet sandalwood + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Barber pole" 2band badger. Excellent gentle scrub and painter brush for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum and Sandalwood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandalwood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick e type injector with SChick blade.
