May I ask what razor did you use? (very good looking adjustable (?) razor , by the way).
Get well soon.
How does the Bronners soap perform? I picked up a tube of Lime about a month ago and havent tried it yet. I use their bar & liquid soaps regularly...especially in the summer, I think the Tea Tree helps keep the ticks off of me !View attachment 2021275
La faulx head on a vestige handle, with some dr. bronners shaving cream I apply by hand. Still trying to work down my stash of creams till I'm left with just hard soaps. New blade in this, a mild kai. Finished with a dor dor dor of Clubman milk.
I think the Tea Tree helps keep the ticks off of me !
I've also read that the Wolf spider (harmless to us, just looks tough) will take out the dangerous spiders as well.I've used tea tree oil in the past to repel brown recluse spiders. Works great!
Thankfully, I haven't seen any at my new place here in Nashville.
Truly is great head shave particularly ATG. I think the slant has something to do with it. Very efficient on the back of the head and neck where my stubble is thickest (bald on top). I've never had trouble getting a close shave on the sides but the stubble on the back is wiry and stiff and most razors skip or just don't mow through it as well. Of course being the back you can't see what you're doing and holding the perfect angle is more challenging.I have mentioned over and over that nothing beats Konsul Xl in head shave. Slant and long handle play big role in achieving that slick bbs/mirror finish. Glad I came across likeminded individual. Even my beloved Taiga OC, that is a standard of its own when it comes to face shave, can’t outperform Konsul XL in head shave. For me 3-3.5 is a sweet spot and every time it’s a very smooth shave with no nicks-have to be extremely careful behind the ears though.
