It's a clear night in this part of the world. I chose the good old Cella Red to accompany me today. With it, a new brush that is starting to give me some pleasure and makes me imagine that it will give me much more, Semogue Pegasus Boar. Inspired by the great theme of this week's SOTD, I chose a blade that I had never used and that is nevertheless the best-selling one here, the Brazilian Wilkinson Sword
manufactured at the P&G factory in Manaus, Amazonas. It inspires polarized feelings, it's the kind of blade that you usually either love or hate. I confess that I found it quite smooth, but not very sharp. With it, I used the razor with which I judge the new blades: Greencult 2.0 II, because it is my standard. I finished with the splendid Floïd The Genuine.In keeping with the atmosphere of the event, instead of jazz, today I accompanied my shave with samba, by the brilliant Jorge Ben Jor

How do you like guarded v unguarded blades in the WR4?
I shave every day so I tend to use guarded with my .70 and .80 gaps 
Yaqi Mellon SLOC in zamak, FlyDear (1), Boti 3 band badger 22mm, Proraso Red soap, Alum and Nivea Men Sensitive post shave balm, Malizia Uomo Vetyver AS.

I showered and returned to the sink my brush was soaking in a mug. This blade from Lord was day 2. I went for 2 passes it went WTG then XTG. I nicked my neck so that was 1 weeper. I rinsed face and the second pass had a thinner lather but fine. No new nicks occurred and by the time I applied balm the nick had vanished. I got a smooth and close shave. DFS

Much the same as yesterday morning’s shave. I drew no blood of any description and I only had minimal sting when I applied my Alum Block. I would rate today’s shave as 8.5/10.

| Comments | I returned to the Razor Rock Classic Soap this morning for the 25th shave. The 2022 Contributor’s Brush by Rudy Vey did an outstanding job of making lather. The lather was excellent. as was the shave. I used my Wolfman WR2 razor with a Personna Medical Prep blade for the second consecutive day. The result was a perfect BBS shave.
