This week, I bought Gillette Slim 65'. I was really impressed with the razor, so I decided to add Black Beauty to my collection. Moreover, the same guy was selling it, so why not? The condition is great, but some numbers aren't there — I mean, dye. Also, there's no that "quarter turn" but the blade is fixed without issues... is it ok? Hope so. Anyway, I've already shaved with it and it's awesome shaver, like it!

I have a few of those. Did you try soaking in dawn/water solution or an ultrasonic bath? It may take a few soakings but it usually gets the quarter turn working. A couple drops of mineral oil after helps too.

You might try Tuf-Glide instead of the mineral oil. I am sure Amazon has it and it lasts a long time. It is a dry lubricant with a needle applicator. No muss, no fuss. I use it on my old adjustables. It keeps things working smoothly.

Hmm, I soaked it once for... 20-30 mins? Okay, appreciate your help, tomorrow will soak it for longer! Besides, I used ballistol.

Thanks!

Got a little box from Stone Field in Manitoba. Turns out he is a colleague of mine at work! I pretty much just wanted to get the Twinhan handle. I have the Personna cartridges in hand. Since I cannot travel with a DE, I bought this to replace the disposable Gillette twin blades. Also going to try the LEA stick in the go-bag.

Those Treets are nice blades for me, carbon steel if you don’t know. If you can find a Durasharp, they are even nicer, but wear out twice as fast! We pay, in the West, about double for those Classic blades so they aren’t a great bargain, many other choices available.
Hi. I know that these blades are made of carbon steel. I had one Treet blade, which was sent to me with other blades by a colleague from the Russian forum. And I liked this blade. That's why I bought these blades at the supermarket. The price seemed attractive to me. What price are Treet blades sold for in your city and how affordable are they?

As you know, most of us buy by the 100 because the per pack cost is unusually high. We generally don't have the luxury of picking up blades locally, but I do have Wilkinson Sword blades available. The closest store that has Treet Classic wants $2.50 for that pack! The Wilkinson Sword are about the same, but for only 5!! I know common items are expensive relative to incomes in your country so I am not complaining, just answering your question as asked.

Actually, we have something called a Dollar Store in the States that does have blades, but they are as bad as the fake Gillette blades you have encountered. Those would be $1 for 5.

DIRHAN OUD - MARIUS FABRE VERVAINE.jpg

DIRHAN OUD by ARD AL ZAAFARAN ORIENTAL.jpg

The Dragon got me a frag and a big 1 litre bottle of liquid French soap today - showered with the soap then scrubbed the bathroom with it because it's so versatile ; it's a gentle but effective household cleaner as well - What did they have 100 years ago ? One bar or bottle of soap had to do everything !

It's Marius Fabre 1900 - Olive Oil and Verbena liquid soap and it smells divine.

The Oud cologne is really classy and powerful too - love my M.E. and Asian scents.

That's called Dirham Oud by Ard Al Zaafaran and it's got good projection but it's not overpowering; my neighbour loved it immediately so I got him one ordered for Christmas.
