Wet shaving side benefits

I too echo the comments about the members here and the willingness to help each other. I also can say that this forum and DE has been asset to me. I just cant believe I didnt go DE earlier in life as I dreaded cart shaving so put that off as long as I could, which was about 4 days before I would really get the comments from the wife! LOL Now right after I get done DE shaving, I wanna do it again to improve and cant wait for the next time!

I love the friendly atmosphere, and the willingness of members to help out other members with advice. Another side benefit for me is the skin on my face has never looked cleaner or healthier.

My half bath has never been consistently this clean. The only negative is I have a ton of product that I never used before and I have stuff on my counter. Today I had to add 3 level chrome shelf to house my stuff. I did take note that a second would fit right next to it. What has happened to me???

This is a great query! I wholeheartedly agree that the level of civility on B & B forum is exceptional and quite gentlemanly! Wetshaving for me has proved to be a ritual that I look forward to each day. It ranks right up there with relaxing with a good cigar, a fine coffee and a discussion with a close friend.

Another unexpected benefit: The wife will sit on the edge of the tub to watch me lather up and shave...somehow feels like it's loading up the ol' man card.

As a lurker, 4-5 weeks prior to becoming a member, I have learned more than I ever imagined about the world of wet shaving. As with most things, what seems to be simple on the surface is usually not so. I surely would be making many more mistakes and taking many more facial beatings if it wasn't for the fine folks here at B&B. I am still learning and experimenting......

The benefits of DE shaving et al.. are markedly superior to the cart and goo route. A zen-like experience at the sink alter also changes the game.

Another side benefit for me is that it has created a "mindfulness" to my morning routine that seems to carry through to my day. Before, shaving was just an annoying task and now it is a pleasure.

And yes, Badger and Blade is one of the best forums I have ever been involved in and I am involved in many.
