Visit to local tobacco shop.

Man I love the smell of raw pipe tobacco, I just don't like to smoke lol I also love the smell of coffee but don't drink it.. weird huh?
I remember going to Hartford Whalers hockey games and going by the tobacco shop in the Civic Center that use to be there with barrels of the stuff.

As far as stores go, I've been to a few since I have a friend who smokes cigars. This place is amazing if you ever go to New Haven http://owlshopcigars.com/tobaccoblends.htm

For Liberty and any other gentlemen in CT, The Tobacco Shoppe in Hartford is a great store. Located on Pratt st. It was just recently sold (about a year ago or so) to it's third owners in something like 100 years. They moved it to a more modern building a block away from its longtime home. They've done nothing but improve an already great shop. The old owner is still there, a pipe man his whole life. I will say they do lack in the tin dept. but have been actively adding to it, recently adding Dunhill and Macbarren. Lot's of bulk and a nice selction of pipes. Disclaimer: I have a good friend who works there.

Great suggestion. I loved this shop. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff. I will definitely be visiting this shop more in the future.

I picked up a few odds and ends. One ounce each of two house blends, a tin of Dunhill NightCap, a wind screen, a bundle of ChurchWarden pipe cleaners and of course some matches.
