So I have been looking to try Spanish Varon Dandy aftershave. I ordered this from Amazon but it came as a spray. Never had aftershave in a spray bottle. Does anyone know if this legitimate? The only place I found what I perceive as the real deal is from a Portugal company idivia.

Looks vintage, does it say Coty anywhere on the packaging?
On the second look the logo (Tophat & Gloves) is upside down and it says Bandera instead of Parera???

Dang...that's what I suspected. OK going to order from Europe then.
I have only ever purchased Varon Dandy in Europe as a cologne in a 1L glass bottle and it was marked Parera. I have several aftershaves which are in spray format so that is not a worry. Also, looking on the web I see several Varon Dandy products marked Bandera, such as these:
This one is from the Walmart site.
My guess is that the Bandera products are made under license in the US for the US market - Bandera España translates to Spanish Flag.

I just got this same packaging and spray bottle today. The back of the box says made in Spain for GLC &D Miami FL.
I can’t make out the logo on the front of the box.
The product description says sandalwood but I’m not sure of the scent when I spray it. I hope it’s not fake. I’m really not sure I like it. It was a gamble anyway scent unseen and it was only $8.

I don't know. Based on what Multum in parvo mentioned I have doubts it's authentic. I did end up ordering the large 1000ml bottle from idivia in Portugal. Cost $35 USD and the shipping was almost as much 
. Spent $62 total. But scratched the itch to try out the real deal. I'll compare the two when it gets here and report back.

I’ve sprayed it on my hand to get a better sense of the scent and I can’t describe it. It’s not sandalwood. It’s lavender forward and almost reminds me of the vegg. It’s definitely not a barbershop scent that I read in some reviews.
