Timeless Open Comb

I have a birthday coming up and want to treat myself to a new razor. As a point of reference I currently am getting excellent shaves with the Pearl Flexi set on 3 to 4. I have an R41 Twist that is too much for me and a PreWar Tech that is not enough. I am considering the Timeless Open Comb in either the .68 or .95 with the Knub handle. I would appreciate any suggestions on which way to go. Also open to other razors in the same price range.

I purchased a .95 OC earlier this year. Fantastic razor. Don't let the large gap full you. I get very smooth shaves with it using Bic CP's, Feathers, and Personna CC's. The smoothest though are definitely with the Bics. I shaved off my goatee about a month ago. The open comb design made quick work of facial hair, and the design doesn't clog easily either. If it does, the large lather channels and lather slots on the bottom let evertying fall out effortlessy with a quick rinse under the tap.

After a lot of research I decided to order the Rockwell 6S in matte black. The Timeless is a beautiful razor but I decided on the Rockwell for its versatility.

Both my wife and I use a Rockwell 6s and it’s a great razor. It will allow you to try varying degrees of aggression.

Had my first shave with the 6S with the 4 plate. 24 hrs growth. Easy 3 pass BBS. Ultra smooth. Very impressed.

no, the stub is a lot shorter.... here is a thread with some good pics Timeless Knub - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/timeless-knub.644232/
I’m thinking I need this. At two inches I’m not 100% sure though.

I’m thinking about adding a 95 oc plate and a handle so I have more options just reusing the top cap. Talking me into it is appreciated.

One big regret is I had a scratch dent 95 dual comb in the cart years ago and didn’t pull the trigger. 😩

Anyone have that stub? I’m guessing not based on no prior replies.
Cheers 🥂

I’ve missed a number of opportunities with the scratch and dent section.

if you’re getting a handle and plate, I mean, what’s a different cap going to hurt?
