Three piece mild razor without breaking the bank?

Does such a beast exist? I'm looking to go fairly deep into the world of mild razors but I want to use my heavy handles. I have had a DE89, I want something even milder. I will not spend the money for a Feather, ATT, or iKon. What options are out there?

Wilkinson sword de classic. Heavy duty plastic but very mild. $9.99 on italian barber. Great razor for the price. I have 3. Never fails.

As far as I know Wilkinsons are two-piece razors. I could be wrong.

Milder than a DE89?

My Tech, an older triangle hole model, is more aggressive than the DE89 I had could ever dream of being. At least on my face!

Maybe the newer techs were too mild...

Try your DE89 with a lighter handle. That should be more "mild"

The wilkinson is listed as a 2 piece but it is actually a 3 piece. The top screws off and then the head comes off the handle as well making it a 3 piece. Really nice razor for the price.

+1 on the Merkur 15c, it milder than an EJ DE89. It shaves similarly to a ball handled tech.

The Lord L122 is a new-production Tech clone and, in comparison to a '67 Tech head on the same Lord aluminum handle, the shave from the Lord and a vintage tech are indistinguishable. It's too mild for me (I use the shorter L122 handle for travel with the Lord L6 head) but a great new-production alternative to the Tech for those who prefer new vs. vintage.
