A few weeks ago I have bought a long handled open comb RazoRock Jaws razor.
It is one of my favourites (the other favourite is my grandfathers Old Type).
It was really worth it's price, it's a beautiful peace, 1st class quality chrome.
It's got quite a big blade exposure maybe this is what makes it a "loud" razor. You can hear every single hair as it gets cut through.
It took me 2 or 3 shaves while I learned the good technique to use it without cuts and irritation.
It gives a very close shave. I have tried several blades in it (Astra, Lord, Derby, Shark, Rapira) and the best blades for me were Derby and Shark.
Maybe the Jaws would be a little too aggressive for those who are new for traditional shaving because it's not too "forgiving" so you have to learn the good technique to use it (good preparation, good angle, not pushing it hard etc...).
