The Eagle Has Landed !!

I think maybe all these demands for custom 2-bands were flooding them, but I e-mailed them when I heard this from Phil, and I was told that custom brushes all depended on how busy they were at the moment, and he (Mark) wouldn't dismiss the notion altogether, and if someone wants one, it's worth emailing us. Never say never in this
business.

So it sounds like they might just be swamped at this present time, but I'll hold out hope that I can still have some brushes made custom when I'm ready. But we definitely do have some awesome brushes on the way with the Eagle!

As far as being a special brush, there are less customized Eagle G3s in Best out there then there are Astor Ltd Edition 90th Anniversary brushes. Now that's special.

please note, for purposes of scale, i have bear paws for hands. the brush is not as small as it may appear here. these were taken straight out of the box; since then, i've whipped up two batches of mwf in my palm - the first batch was a bit lack-luster and slightly dark (presumably washing off a bit of funk, though i couldn't smell much of anything). the second batch was way better. it's still soaking in that until i return home from work.

It's here. It's beautiful. I couldn't not be happier with the brush. Even with the hype, the fanfare, and the waiting, oh the waiting, this brush has surpassed my expectations. Wow.

A heartfelt thank you to Bob, John, the folks at Simpson, and especially to the selfless folks of B&B/WCS for raising a bunch of cash for Operation Smile.

Here's mine. Arrived yesterday safe and sound. I had to come home to get it. Man o man did I have some explaining to do with the guys at work.

My Eagle arrived today. Here is a post brush cleaning pic with the Eagle next to a Chubby 1 Best.

Very nice brush. Just a tad bit bigger than the Chubby 1 but no where near a Chubby 2.
