That Perfect “Workhorse” Razor In Your Rotation

Karve Overlander SS or Brass.
Tatara Masamune.
Timeless Titanium 0.68 SB
Yates 921M.

I shave every morning, quickly before heading to work. All 4 of these give me safe, drama-free, 2 pass shaves. I have others that I will use when I have more time, but I return to these for my regular workday shaves.

Haircut & Shave N075 with the aluminum base. As a daily shaver, I have found my sweet spot with mild razors and, for whatever reason (possibly the neutral blade exposure), the N075 is as smooth, but efficient, as can be. Can shave quickly and easily, get an excellent DFS shave, and get on with my day. It is the razor I travel with and, in fact, it's the only razor I own two of - one for my principal house and one for the beach house. I've been using the N075 for four years and during that time have tried numerous other razors but I always return to it (admittedly, at the moment the Tatara Amakuni might be giving it a run for its money but only time will tell). My go-to blade have been St. Pete Gillette Silver Blues - of which I've stocked up a pile.

Haircut & Shave N075, the mixed metal. This has been my workhorse for years. I like mild but efficient as a daily shaver, and this has always clicked. For me it pairs best with a Gillette Silver Blue. But recently I've been using a Tatara Amakuni and it may have jumped to the top.

For me (and probably most of us) it's a moving target. At the moment I would answer my Game Changer 76. In past years I would have said a Slim Adjustable or my trusty EJ DE89. Also just received a Rex Envoy and so far after after the first few shaves,.....well, in a month my answer might be different regarding 'the one'. That's what makes it fun!!

Lockback

Dull yet interesting
Tough choice.
It would come down to the Game Changer 68-P and one of my two Edwin Jagger DE89's. I give the Jaggers a slight edge in terms of comfort but because the Razorock is made of stainless steel, I guess it's probably more likely to hold up for a long period of time.
Love 'em both as well as my Rockwell 6C.

Adding mine since the Amakuni is fast overtaking my Blackbird Ti as the 'workhorse' razor as you put it. Similar to the post above, all my razors have to pass the 'workhorse' rating or it'll get a new owner on BST. I'm far from a collector and the Amakuni might just pause any purchases for now. Rad killer?
