Tell me about the Arko stick......

I like Arko a lot, to me it smells clean and produces a great, thick, rich lather. To me it is a great value, which I prefer over some pricier soaps.

Please tell me about your experiences with Arko- I have heard that it provides a great lather, but how is the scent?

Arko does indeed provide for great lather. The scent is extremely strong, and it's... uhh... errrm... challenging.

Performance is tops but the smell was just horrid! It also left a stink on the brush which the affected the following days soap scent!

I like Arko soaps. I need to order another supply. I started with a dozen and gave most of them away. I use it when I am running late and need a good shave. For the money, it is a bargain!

Well, if you can't get past a little funky smell, many of the enjoyable things in life are closed to you....I'm looking forward to receiving the Arko I ordered, and I'll be a little disappointed if the fragrance isn't intolerable, after all this wailing and gnashing of teeth.

If you really hate the smell and despise the soap, don't throw it away! Send it to me!

I really like Arko. The smell doesn't bother me, and fades if you let it sit open. And I really like face lathering, probably more than mug lathering. Since getting my Arko stick a couple of weeks ago, I have been getting the best shaves of my life. :thumbup1:

Light Sabers *do* get close, don't they?

I actually like the scent but then I like Tabac, too.

The performance is excellent for the price. Really a strong performer in my opinion. If you don't like the scent, just open the package then leave it be for a few months. The scent will fade.

Crush into a puck with your hand and let sit open. It will produce a flexible lather depending on your lather treatment.

+10

I crush mine into a bowl and let it sit open. The scent will diminish rapidly.

Pretend you've spent $26 for the stick... and just enjoy the shave.

May the first whiff of your first Arko shave be of hell, and may the last whiff of your first Arko shave be of heaven. Ashes to ashes, whiskers to drain, for ever and ever, Amen.

The morning after my first Arko shave I walked into a client's home and the laundry was being done. It smelled very close to that laundry detergent. Clean and fresh. I found the scent no sacrifice to enjoy a great, cushioned shave. Enjoy it!

i quite like the smell and it lathers up brilliantly just bought a few back from Turkey with me, great value for money:thumbup1:

I love Arko. I never found the scent to be offensive and agree that it fades if you leave the soap open. If I found Arko locally, I would snatch up a case!
