He also said that "nothing from either the the STG or Mac Baren portfolios is being delisted in the UK."

I was just watching Shane Ireland's Tasting Notes video for 507C from 2017. He says if he was tasting it blind he would wonder whether there was some dark fired or perique in it. Thought that was interesting.
For informational purposes. It appears these will be the tobacco blends that survive the Sutliff/MacBaren SKU purge moving forward. Sadly for me, no 515-RC.

Nice to see St Bruno staying available. No mention of Revor Plug though, which I believe was being produced by Mac's, despite being marketed by Gawiths. I have a few tucked away in Mylar though, so no major hardship. I don't think there was anything else on my radar from either blender.

Yeah, unfortunately, a lot is seemingly just going away. My hope is that C&D can pick up/acquire some of the blends mentioned (SPC, 515, H&H, etc) and perhaps do limited runs or something moving forward. It would be cool to know what the folks at C&D do have planned.
Yep I hoped the HH line could survive somehow, but luckily I've got some squirreled away. If I smoked more frequently or was younger I might get my tighty whities in a bunch, but life goes on. Thanks @seabee1999 and @Isaac (among others) for keeping us abreast of these interesting developments!
That email was pretty shocking, to say the least. Now I'm glad I went ahead and ordered enough to make ~11 pounds of my Sutliff VaPer blend! Of course, it remains to be seen if I actually receive those orders. The only one arrived so far is the 515-RC1, the largest component of the blend. Fingers crossed.
Looks like Capstan blue made the cut, but looks like the gold and ready rubbed may not have.
Just in case, ordered a pound of HH Burley Flake and HH Latakia Flake.
I’m tempted with HH Pure Virginia and HH Latakia flake. I don’t NEED anymore tobacco and I have at least a lb of each of these, but when they’re gone they’re gone.
Personally, I was able to find some 515 (1lbs) and 507 (8oz) locally to me. With the amount I smoke, that’ll be enough for me for a bit of time. That being said, I am so glad I got a pound each of Newminster’s 400 and 403. Those are comfortably stashed away for rainy days.
In the end though, the biggest disappointment for me is that not even a small amount of stock blending tobacco was retained. I still enjoy creating my own home blends. Looks like I’ll have to invest in some more tobacco seeds.

C&D has 16 blending tobaccos listed at SP.
The Latakia Flake is already sold out on SP
Im debating getting a few more pounds of Pure Virginia myself. ive heard it doesnt get much better with age, but its already good fresh, so who knows.
I know. I’ll have to sample their blending stock here over the next year.
Wow HH going away? I can’t buy anymore anyways but that’s quite the shock.

I may order a few more items while I can, but already have a lot of my favorites stockpiled. Still, it'd be a good idea to be prepared.
