Stando Rod or Atelier Durdan La Faulx?

I tried it once and I have to say it's very efficient. Maybe for me a + was enough. In some time I will order it or i will buy used.

Thank you so much. Yes I got the ++. Sure I'll try a few times and I'll probably end up loving it, but if I don't like it, I will try the + plate.
For my face and beard the ++ is magical….very efficient yet easy on the skin. It took be a few shaves to dial it in, but now I love it.

The + plate has less blade feel but still delivers a good shave and is slightly smoother overall. I have the Classic, +, and ++ and they each go up exponentially in blade feel and efficiency yet remain very smooth and comfortable. After trying them all the ++ came out on top for me and it’s the best shaving razor in my den.

Today I tried the razor for the second time. I used it with a more open angle, riding the cap. The shave was always close, but smoother and comfortable. I love it! I don't need more plates. It was probably one of the best shaves I've ever gotten with a razor. Thank you so much

Good deal. Yes, use a shallow angle with the La Faulx (ride cap) for best results. Sounds like you have figured this out. Enjoy your shaves.
