I just recently discovered a tube of Speick in the back of my closet. What a great cream. It's slick, protective and smells like a cool winter day in the mountains. I don't know why this doesn't get more attention. The AS is nice too.

Speick soap is among the few non artisan offerings that have earned a permanent place within my rotation.

Not sure I agree. I learned it years ago as sch-pike, rhymes with bike from a video made by the manufacturer.

What do they know? They make shaving cream, not how to pronounce recordings.
My last shave was with Speick soap. It's a great soap that makes a very slick lather. The smell of Speick reminds me of Noxzema. My mom always used this as a face cleanser and makeup remover. The aftershave also smells great.
I agree… great product. The a/s is my favorite a/s of all time. Just too bad I’m out and can’t re-stock for another 2 1/2 months. I also agree that they don’t get much credit here in conus however, it’s quite a popular product in it’s homeland.
This is the Speick plant growing in the Alps. Common name Valerian Spikenard, Botanical name Valeriana Celtica. It grows around 2-6 inches tall. Used as an herbal remedy and perfume ingredient from ancient times.
Looks spiky, doesn't it? In German ei is usually pronounced like the letter I, so it's pronounced like "spike".
