For soap Taconic Bay Rum ,applied with a cashmere knot/Maggard handle brush Diamond Hayashi razor stropped 40/40 canvas and leather. One pass and touch ups and for finals, Osma Alum and a homemade Bay rum aftershave I prepared.

Another SUPER smooth shave from the Astra SP/Super Speed combo. Even though I know logically it's not the sharpest blade of the bunch, it's hard to imagine a more natural and enjoyable pairing. I would be completely fine shaving with this kit for the foreseeable future, if we enter into the blade apocalypse (let us hope that day never comes). There's nothing more I need to say that hasn't already been said about the CK-6, other than... if you haven't gotten one, get up on it folks!

Greetings,

(Face & Head Shave)

A wonderful performance from the Ever-Ready 1914.

I have repeated myself in many of my postings by saying if I had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving I probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything that is required for a close comfortable shave.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.😉

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

It is time to retire the Polsilver blade. This is the sixth and last shave with the U.K. Aristocrat razor and Polsilver blade. I rarely get that many quality shaves with a blade. Rudy Vey made today’s brush and it has the infamous Shavemac D01 two-band knot. The knot has plenty of backbone and some find it harsh on the face. However, I like that knot and that brush. The brush did a superb job of making plenty of lather. The shave was excellent: a perfect BBS shave. Have a wonderful day, folks.
