Background

Set in the 2060s, the Thunderbirds follows the adventures of International Rescue, a secret organization dedicated to saving lives in perilous situations around the world.

• Jeff Tracy is the Tracy family's patriarch and the mastermind behind International Rescue.
• Scott Tracy: The eldest son, pilots Thunderbird 1, a hypersonic rocket plane used for rapid response.
• Virgil Tracy: Pilots Thunderbird 2, a massive green transporter aircraft carrying rescue equipment and other Thunderbirds.
• Alan Tracy: The youngest son, pilots Thunderbird 3, a sleek red spacecraft used for space rescues.
• Gordon Tracy: Pilots Thunderbird 4, a yellow submersible for underwater rescue missions.
• John Tracy (my character tonight): Monitors space from Thunderbird 5, a space station orbiting Earth.
• Brains: The brilliant engineer and inventor responsible for creating the Thunderbird machines.
• Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward: A British aristocrat and International Rescue agent, assisted by her chauffeur, Parker.

The Shave​

The Thunderbird 5 space station hangs majestically in orbit, a vigilant sentinel watching over Earth. Inside, I prepare for the day ahead, your hand reaching for the Alpha Shaving Spirit SE Artist Club razor. Its gleaming stainless steel reflects the technological prowess of International Rescue, while its precision-engineered design mirrors the other Thunderbird craft's sleek lines.

I lather up with Barrister ^ Mann’s Full Measure of Man soap, its sophisticated scent of leather and tobacco filling the air. The Bulldog Titanium Knifemodders #2 brush, crafted from the same metal as Thunderbird 2's mighty grabbers, whips up a luxurious foam, enveloping my face in a cloud of comfort.

With each stroke of the razor, I channel the focus and determination of the Tracy brothers. The Full Measure of Man’s sophisticated fragrance enhances my resolve, reminding me of the responsibility that comes with protecting the world. The Spirit SE Artist Club's precise Kai blade glides effortlessly, leaving my skin smooth and refreshed, ready to face any challenge that may arise.

As I gaze out the window at the vast expanse of space, I feel a sense of connection to the Thunderbird team. Like them, I am prepared for action and equipped with the tools and the mindset to make a difference. Today, I shave not just for Myself but for all those who rely on International Rescue's unwavering courage and unwavering commitment to saving lives.

Razor: I modified the Alpha Shaving Spirit SE Artist Club with the Alpha Shaving Fat Alec Titanium handle. It is very light and nimble, both smooth and efficient. It is half the weight and 2/3 the width of the Claymore. I add the Fat Alec when the arthritis bothers me; otherwise, the stock handle gives perfect balance and grip.

Blade: Kai Captain Titan Mild—It is crafted with the latest Kai technology. The PINK (Plasma Ion New process) hardens the blade, which is then coated with titanium for durability. The blade is finished with a PTFE coating for a smooth shave.

Soap: Barrister & Mann's Full Measure of Man (Apologies to Lady Penelope and Parker) – cured tobacco, sandalwood, Mousse de Saxe, citrus, vanilla, resins, myrrh, geranium. It creates a rich, thick, creamy lather that provides an excellent cushion and glide for a smooth, comfortable shave. The lather is easy to build.

The Morning Shave.
The Astra blade was in my 1969 Gillette Super Adjustable 109 today.

This was a new blade, quite mild. I originally had the Gillette 109 on setting 5, this is usually my preferred setting on my Adjustables. After a few strokes I moved up to setting 6. The blade was a little too mild although very comfortable.

Second time using the Gillette Pure cream.
This is a very dense cream, only need a tiny amount for a great rich creamy lather.
The scent is a light mild floral almost unscented.

Comments	This was the third consecutive shave with my U.K Aristocrat razor loaded with a Polsilver Super Iridium blade. The UK Aristocrat is my favorite vintage razor. It looks and performs great. It was another perfect shave: close and smooth with no stubble. Next in my rotation is a boar brush: the B& B Essential Boar. Until I joined B& B I had never tried a boar brush. I now have several boar brushes in my rotation For me boar brushes have sufficient backbone so that it easily loads soap. Have a wonderful day, folks.
