Monday's Shave - Excellent. I'm always amazed, after I've been away from it for a while, at what a great razor the OG Slim is. Iconic is the word. At time of writing I'm running it on 4 and it's just superb.

Night shave with the OG Tabac and I finally understand what all the fuss is with this soap. With this kit I was able to pull The best lather from the puck that I've ever experienced. It was rich, creamy, yogurty goodness that was amazingly slick. I'm still somewhat in shock at how good the shave was.

It's been 19 months since I last used my Yaqi SS Mellon; I'd forgotten what a great razor it is.

Nice one Cal - I have a few Mellons and SLOC's (Self Lubricating Open Comb) and I think they're great because they hold more lather and water on the face so are very comfortable and efficient especially if the blade is well clamped at the edge and is a good sharp one and has a decent blade exposure with a positive blade bias.

They look fearsome but they don't bite too much Haha !

I have some dual Open Comb / Closed Comb combination heads like the Yaqi Flipside I can interchange with my Mellon top plates to make a Yaqi "Beast" - not tried it yet; but I bet that'll be a fun nights shave I'm sure !

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Comments	This was the sixth and final shave with the .84p Game Changer razor and PolSilver Super Iridium blade. I was surprised I could get so many BBS shaves with this combo. Normally, I get at most four shaves particularly with more aggressive razors. The shave was very close and smooth. Today’s brush is my Muhle Silvertip Fibre. The brush did a nice job of loading the soap and making lather. The TFS soap was on its 25th use. The shave was perfect: BBS. Have a great day, folks.
