The OS razor is a very aggressive razor, even more than the Slant, so I like to live dangerously occasionally so I loaded a Feather into it, this paring is not for the unexperienced (KIDS don't try this at home!!!]. I took my time and had a very careful shave and got a BBS.

After several weeks of using the Gillette NEW, I decided yesterday to use my trusty Merkur HD. No dice. Although a decent shave, the HD just isn't in the same league as the NEW for mine. I realised how fond I've become of the open comb design as it felt like I was scraping off the lather before the blade did its job. Back to the NEW today and all was well in the world again.

Also, I've been using the Bulldog brushless cream quite a bit lately with great results. The shea butter contained within really leaves the skin feeling great.

Thanks, Mark. The scales are by Max and he calls them Jade Ghost. I'm sure there some sort of acrylic, but they do look nice.

Yeah, that was one of Glen's razors.. Unfortunately I was a bit klutzy one recent morning and dropped it, breaking off a nice little chunk on the opposite side of the one shown..
