The AX Titanium head is upgraded with the Pioneer Titanium handle. An interesting design; while it is polished the indents provide for a secure grip at all times. It has a decent length at 90 mm and a width of 14 mm and provides good support and control during the shave. It kind of reminds me of the Disco 70s. The AX didn't disappoint in this configuration providing a lovely BBS in my usual two passes with some ATG touchups in problem areas.

Continuing the fruity theme for this week with PAA's Cherry & Sandalwood soap followed by TOBS - Royal Forest aftershave lotion (Bergamot, Apple, Blackcurrant, Berries and Pineapple among other notes) finalizing this mid-week shave with Afnan's Supremacy in Oud (Saffron, Nutmeg, Lavender and of course Oud plus some candied Pineapple notes in the middle).

SOTD from India

Felt like using Gillette Tech today, so took out Gillette Sterling. It's the modern incarnation of old Tech. It's not my favorite in "how it feels over the face" but the shave was pretty good. WTG + XTG. My DE shaving skill has definitely improved because Sterling did not bite me as much as it used to. I have some sort of fascination for the Tech. Will try to find more Tech models/clones in India.

That is my favorite brush. Knot size and softer bristles, just excellent.

First time using the Swagger, I picked it up recently but this bottle was made in 2018 and I believe the aftershave is discontinued. It has an aquatic opening, then prominent woody cedar and rosemary, and maybe some orange or mandarin. My hopes weren't high for being a fairly generic sounding Old Spice flanker, but it exceeded my expectations, I quite like it. It's fairly strong too, more so than Old Spice Original. The cedar note reminds me of Quorum Silver. DFS result.

I don't usually shave two days in a row, but felt scruffy and was curious about the newly acquired Lavanda cream. Loved it. Slick, and smelled great.
A really nice shave, but I think I'll stick to shaving every other day.
