I looked at this soap at one point and was hesitant about “gasoline” as a scent note…what do you think of this concoction?

The gasoline and motor oil scent is definitely there. When I was in high school I got gasoline on the leather gloves I was wearing when we bailed hay. All afternoon in the hot sun and itchy hay dust I was smelling that scent. It was rather pleasant. This isn’t quite as sweet as I recall that scent being but it reminds me of that.

I got this as a sample with several other Chiseled Face soaps. I would suggest you get the samples as it‘s unusual. I’m not sure if I would buy a full tub of this but it is an interesting change of pace.

Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Originals Shave Cream+Wilkinson Sword Soap Bowl.
Razor: Parker 24C.- Voskhod Teflon Coated (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome)- Personna Injector PTFE. (D2)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men Aqua ASL./ Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Nice shave, comfortable and close enough. First time using a FlyDear. Seems a decent blade, no real complaints. No tugging ATG, smooth/no harshness, maybe a little louder than other blades but I don’t think that means much. No major irritation/weepers (some small dots in the usual spots) but maybe feeling a little scraped. Not immediately in love with them but I feel they deserve a fair shake, would take it over a Derby Extra.
