I'll be damned before I voluntarily use PayPal, particularly as a seller. The litany of reasons NOT to use PP make this a no-go for me.

Well I look at BTS Daily, Good Deals Sell, faster than a lightning bolt kills.
Very true, a Lambda Athena sold this afternoon in about 20 minutes. Of course, it was underpriced by about $40 IMHO.
I've only bought on the BST (so far), but I've found that most items I'm interested in go pretty fast. I've missed out on several razors despite PMing the seller the same day the listing was posted.
If anything, it seems like there's been a recent slowdown in the number of items being listed. That could just be my perception, though, since I now try to check it at least once per day.
A FedEx envelope is $10 minimum. With no usps sending a letter will cost $20
Regarding bst, I looked there recently as I’m consumed with a new case of rad. Most things were sold. I see people lower the price if no immediate interest and I suppose you could make an offer lower than asking price. I’m not familiar with PayPal issues but personally if I were to buy gear I’d do it here and not on eBay.
People want cash, fast, and don't want to fill out export declarations, simples. Many people choose to limit the reach of their ads with shipping restrictions. I have found that things move more quickly when you have a wider customer base. Shipping internationally is pretty easy these days.
You get the cash just as fast with PayPal. Payments are instant even for overseas transfers. You get the cash faster if you spread the net wider and find a buyer faster. Is a customs declaration really that hard? Mine are a one line description of the goods and the sale price. It’s pretty easy but requires a trip to the post office.People want cash, fast, and don't want to fill out export declarations, simples.
and ..... thats more than most are willing to do for cash.Is a customs declaration really that hard? Mine are a one line description of the goods and the sale price. It’s pretty easy but requires a trip to the post office.
That's a really good way of putting it.To me, the ~ 30% or so I lose on the deal is like a rental fee
