Sign of time? Email from Rasoigoodfellas

Thought the P.S. said something about people in 2024. Many Unhappy People.

If you Healthy, Have Home, Food, Transportation, and secure income to pay bills. Be Happy, you could be living on street - HOMELESS.

JMHO

I would like to open this newsletter by thanking everyone who chose to participate in Rasoigoodfellas' Black Friday again this year.
This year, participation was truly higher than ever.
However, I need you to bear with us a little longer. As you know, in every communication regarding this event, we indicated up to 15 working days for shipping fulfillment. 15 days means that if an order was placed on Friday, November 22, it could be fulfilled by Friday, December 13 at the latest.
We receive hundreds of emails every day asking "where is my order." It's understandable, but we are bending over backwards to fulfill more orders each day than is humanly possible.
Additionally, the special shipping condition of 15 working days applies exclusively to orders placed during Black Friday.
This means that after the event ended, we have returned to shipping orders received after Black Friday on the same day.
We are only human, just like you, and the only thing we can do is work through Saturdays and Sundays to try to satisfy as many people as possible.
Rasoigoodfellas does not have the resources of Amazon, which is exactly why we clearly stated the terms for order fulfillment upfront and everywhere.
Thank you all for your patience.
PS
I invite everyone who is leaving 1, 2, or 3-star reviews on TrustPilot these days due to "our slowness" to make their purchases on the other 358 working days of the year, avoiding Black Friday week. This way, you can fully enjoy the quality of our services, but without the 35% discount.
See you soon, and I wish you a splendid day.
Nicola Donghi

For that PS only, they are absolutely worth of 1 star on TrustPilot. They are simply unacceptable!
And think of it. You buy something by the end of November, you wait for it to be shipped by the end of December, meaning you will get it beginning next year! Great service!

P.S. to Mr Nicola
The other days of the year there is absolutely no reason to buy from them what you can find elsewhere and cheaper.

I didn't shop at rasoigoodfellas this year during black friday, but if they did announce 15 working days for shipping fulfillment, then I really fail to see what all the complaining is about. I guess it all depends on how in your face the shipping announcement was. If it was tucked away somewhere in some fine print, and no one read it, then I get it. Regardless, they shouldn't offer such a attention grabbing sale if they can't handle the workload, and Black Friday always turns the sheep into impatient self centered misters.

EDIT: just to be clear, when I mention "sheep" I'm not referring to anyone here, or people who shop on Black Friday in general, I'm referring to the lunatics you see on TV getting into fistfights over children's toys.

They announced that after the BF was finished. If I knew that before, I would had not bought anything from there. Stupid me, getting them from the official maker of the products I bought was just 10 euros more!

The newsletter they sent out announcing thier BF sale in november 19 contained a list of notes for the sale. The first note was that the shipping fulfillment takes 1 to 15 working days and it was underlined too. So I can understand thier frustration with peoples "needness/greediness" .

"Needness/greedness"? Pardon me! When paying a fair sum of money, you do expect a fair sum of customer care in response. I was not offered anything for free. I saw that announcement nowhere when ordering! I received it as a response in an inquiry looking for my order. Since they are pretty much incapable of fulfilling their part of business in a timely manner, they should had that note somewhere more prominent on their website. Seeing that in advance, I wouldn't buy from there.

Sounds like nobody died.

Dark theory is that all the naughty children who entered Wonka's factory actually did die.

Funny thing is when I was young, I would put Quarter, Box Tops in envelope. Send off to Kellogg's in Battle Creek, Michigan. Then the fun began, waiting for something like Submarine, Navy Frogmen, or some Price to arrive in mail. don't recall melting down if it took two - four week.

Today people want everything yesterday, don't even thin Amazon, or Uber Eats can do that good. People cry about nothing important.

Wonder how most people would react to diagnosis of ALS, or Pancreatic Cancers, if slow delivery is big deal.yesterday

Agreed. @DesertIguana I like the cut of your jib.

Are these orders to the EU or the US? If the US, anyone who knows the owner should connect them to me, I work for a 3PL and we can handle those volumes 365/24/7 without breaking a sweat.

It is not like an I want it now thing. And it is not a favour Rasoi did for you. It was an agreement on a sale. They asked for an amount of money I agreed and gave it to them. It was not gifted by Santa, Satan, or anybody else. Don't make silly comparisons. And think of how long they delay it; you buy it late November, it gets shipped late December and due to holiday season you get it mid-January. Sounds like a joke.
I hope at least that after waiting that long, my order won't be canceled due to a mistake of theirs, or they won't send me the wrong or a damaged item.
I will keep that Newsletter (I did not receive it because I was a newcomer to them and not registered to their news). I will re-post it next BF to remind to the oldies and notify the newbies to their website what happened this year, so that as per Nicola's advice they buy from there the rest of the year without the discount (he must be thinking that he runs some charity and we should be thankful to him).

The shipping terms (which in addition to being listed in the promotional material, are also the very first note on the Black Friday page), are part of the agreement.

Talk about silly comparisons.

I speak from experience: when a unreasonable, entitled customer angrily proclaims they will take their business elsewhere, there's a sigh of relief.

Sign of the times indeed.

Cool! In my experience, those who treat their clients like that, soon get out of business. I cancelled my order. A sigh for Rasoi, and another one for me.
Kudos for they instantly refunded me.
No harm done!

I'm sorry, but this seems like an absurd response given what the message is saying. Did you actually read it? It doesn't look like it.

I read it quite well! Nicola must be thinking he is doing the world a big favour this BF. The fact is though, that even now my order was not even processed. Even if it was shipped tomorrow, I would get it in January. Sorry, but I am not that patient.
(Nor does it matter now)

1) Are you able to count 15 working days from Black Friday? They are within the terms they originally stated until the end of this week.
2) How do you know you wouldn't get it until January? I had something that shipped from them on Tuesday and was supposed to arrive here on Friday. The fact that it didn't (should be here today) is entirely the fault of the courier. Assuming your item ships sometime this week you could well have it before Xmas, depending on your location. Look on the bright side!

If you can't wait a few days then you can't wait a few days, but it looks to me like you shot yourself in the foot. Oh well, I guess you can just order from elsewhere at full price!
