The razor you identify as an Old Type looks to be an early-edition NEW, which came in an OT Pocket case and featured the OT ball-end handle. Look for a lack of patent numbers on the head, and you would be the lucky owner of a pre-takeover NEW, the last razor design introduced by the original Gillette company!
