I name my tucks of GSB blades, my friend. You know you are a shaving addict when...... you give your razors names.
Would you like the Jennifer, Alice or Amanda tuck, Boris?

The LOTH asks “Are you talking to your razors again?!”You know you are a shaving addict when......
What are you if you dress them up in little doll clothing and set a place for them at the dinner table?
Just to be clear, I only do it sometimes
As long as they lock me up WITH my razors!
That sounds even worse! Think of all the names you need to use Eric! Especially you with the blade factory. That is a full time job all by itself.I name my tucks of GSB blades, my friend.

I got a facepalm! That sounds even worse! Think of all the names you need to use Eric! Especially you with the blade factory. That is a full time job all by itself.
If we didn't give each other at least one facepalm a day I would question our friendship, dear Boris.I got a facepalm!
Great, now Team 75 Bro is in on it.If we didn't give each other at least one facepalm a day I would question our friendship, dear Boris.
Sure.O excellent - so I have nothing to worry about yet! Thanks Boris!
I believe the term for that is "fetish".What are you if you dress them up in little doll clothing and set a place for them at the dinner table?

No "Loraina Bobbit" blade?I name my tucks of GSB blades, my friend.
Would you like the Jennifer, Alice or Amanda tuck, Boris?
“The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys” (Hugh Heffner).Sure.
Absolutely nothing wrong with grown men either spending thousands of dollars on multiple sets of tools that all do the same thing as a single set of tools that can be had for under $100, or, choose to join self-help groups to manage a psychological disorder related to spending thousands of dollars on such tools.
Nope, nothing at all to worry about.
Nothing at all.
No, Boris is a one tuck at a time guy…size doesn’t matter so no need for namesNo "Loraina Bobbit" blade?
All out of love, EricGreat, now Team 75 Bro is in on it.
Right..?!? I admit, I've been thinking of my Pils as Honeybadger. As in, "Honeybadger just don't care." It basically weighs half a pound, ploughs through anything...You know you are a shaving addict when...... you give your razors names.
I always thought that Akronym meant something else.Lafaulx, Le Friend. My bad.
How about Marples? Heroine of Agatha Christie stories that was always DTF. Dedicated To Forensics.
You can't shave steep with the Pils, as the blade won't catch... I'd say "shallow side of neutral" is my sweetspot shaving angle with this razor. The latest (very good) ad from ATT in my in-box talked about bit about blade rigidity and the different ways to achieve that.

Our friend @Teutonblade has done a lot of thinking about bending vs clamping (and especially clamp width). I guess we can add torque (eg, a slant) and shallow angle to the list.
The Pils (and my guess the Tradere) use a shallow angle.
Me too. It’s very well balanced though, and quickly becoming one of my favorite razors.
Big fan of the Pils
Wow. This is a huge endorsement @Benwustl , particularly that you find it smoother and more efficient than the Overlander. The blade clamping must be exceptional. The latest (very good) ad from ATT in my in-box talked about bit about blade rigidity and the different ways to achieve that.

The Pils (and my guess the Tradere) use a shallow angle. The blade is held completely flat in a heavy, broad head. There’s no chatter at all, and since you have to hold it virtually perpendicular to your face the broad head seems to stretch the skin ahead of the blade. The weight of the head helps it stay stable; it just ploughs through even my toughest spots. I’ve found it smoother and more efficient than my Overlander. It’s surprising, I normally prefer short light razors and the Pils is the exact opposite. It’s very well balanced though, and quickly becoming one of my favorite razors.
Big fan of the Pils, I’ll do a full review soon. Still gotta get that ATT S1, too
