Recommendations for Gel / Pomade?

Mandom Moving Rubber. They have several formulations from ranging from stiff to loose style holds as well as shiny/matte options. All have a light, jolly rancher apple smell to them that fades quickly. A plus is that it doesn't darken my hair which happens to me with the the American Crew products. It is non-greasy but slightly difficult to wash out of your hair. They are also paraben free. Good stuff, highly recommended.

Like many have said, American Crew makes good stuff. If I were you I would just ask whoever cuts your hair for a recommendation. I had a conversation with the woman who cut my hair about what I used (which I was happy with) and she mentioned that American Crew defining paste would work better with my hair type. She was right and I saw a big difference.

I second the reccomendation of Brylcreem. It sounds like you have similar hair to my Grandfathers. He's been using Brylcreem since the 50's. I just started using it a couple months ago and I couldn't be happier, I like to do the classic side-part and it works well to maintain hold as well as keep the natural shape of my hair. It looks great, and effortless. Fantastic product and no surprise that it's been around for nearly a century.

I was using T&H Pomade (I got it cheap on eBay :w00t:) but I recently got Redken for Men Moulding Paste. It's exceptional
