Everyone's skin chemistry and reaction to products is different, so you have to just experiment with everything until something works. I used to suffer from hyperhidrosis and would literally soak through my undershirts and onto my outer shirt. It was horrible. I started trying everything that I could get my hands on. Unfortunately, the aluminum based products are really the only ones that really stop the sweat. Deodorants just mask the smell or kill the bacteria that cause the bad smell, but you will still sweat. Not an option for someone like me.
The first thing I found that worked was the Mitchum roll on. It works well, but I hated the stickiness of it and eventually discovered and settled on Clinique's Skin Supplies antiperspirant (unscented). Not even a drop of moisture. But yep, I have to replace the undershirts every few months. I'll gladly pay that price to keep the underarms dry!
