RazoRock Cyber Suction/Drag Is Driving Me Crazy! What Else Can I Do?

Thanks for the warm welcome, fellas.

I've been doing some trial and error. The suction is still a problem for me, though less and more tolerable. Dripping-onto-the-floor-because-it's-so-wet lather has helped. "Excess water"? What's that? :confused1 My usual lather seems dry in comparison.

Riding the cap isn't making a difference. But, I did notice that suction seems to be an issue largely in areas that aren't level/flat (think craters on the back of your head). Unfortunately, these aren't areas I can flatten just by stretching the skin. However, a solution I've found has been to tilt to razor to one side, and sectioning off uneven areas into two parts. I hope that makes sense. That has made a huge difference and I will being doing that going forward. :thumbup1:

Again, I appreciate the suggestions and the welcome messages. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Tuesday (or Wednesday, depending on where you are). 🥂

You could try a heavier handle, to increase the force fighting the friction.

You could add scallops or another reduced surface area finish.
I actually had the same thought myself! Threw a RazoRock Haloed UFO handle on it. Helped a bit but I find that particular handle too heavy for face shaves.

I use it for head shaving and I love that suction effect. I find it beneficial to the quality of the shaving. It feels like it didn't miss any stubble.
It really doesn't miss anything, does it? Really blew me away at how efficient it is, even in my problem areas. My buffing days are behind me now.
