I had that happen once. Sort of. There was a linen closet right next to the bathroom in a place I used to live. I figured it out when I smacked into the shelves. I was able to reverse course and find my way to the bathroom though.

The black handled super speeds are made of aluminium mostly which attributes to their weight. Gillette moved to cheaper materials towards the 1970s before going with carts only. The earlier super speeds were still the usual Gillette brass.

But they got the shaving right for sure. The black handle is really effective I think in part because of that weight.

I decided to stick with the SuperSpeed for this morning's shave. Again the Big Ben with the SuperSpeed delivered a very comfortable and plenty close shave. No issues just smoothness.

Feeling a bit under the weather today and working from home. However, I still had to have a shave this morning even though I am not up to par. Still the Super Speed delivered a wonderful shave. I might stick with this razor for another shave of two with this blade.
