Post Your Deployed Shave Den

In th rear there you can see the scuttle I bought from Misunderstood, along with some random cologne that was a gift from the Jordanian army. A bottle of PX with hazel, some Nivea for men AS Balm in an unmarked container. A tub of Cella, a blade bank made from an Altoids tin, an unknown badger brush, palmolive shave stick, generic alum block, Merkur Futur, RazoRock AS wax, and Parker SR1 shavette (for post-haircut closeness on the sides.) Also a nice array of bartered-for Indian blades, and my go-to supply of Astra SP's.

I've got a grenade box I'm going to put some shelves in, and have a more organized way to contain all of thisnow that I've PIF'd a bunch of razors and soaps out.

And also the most important shaving gear: a gun:p

Hey Guys good looking deployed shave dens, my home den is very small so far but working on it, I will get my pics up of my deployed den in a few weeks.

Thanks for your service. I have not been in the giant sand box since 1991. Of course we didn't shave because we were dressed the part and 'blending'. Awesome den!

Now that I'm back in Kuwait I'm living out of tent and my den sits on the top shelf of my wall locker. This is the one thing I get to do everyday that is for me and I always have plenty of time to do it.

Some impressive dens here. I took one brush, one DE, and two shave sticks when I recently deployed. Also a bottle of Alt-Innsbruck, don't leave home without it!

Thanks for your service........

Last time I was deployed, I just brought a brush, soap, a mug, and a mach 3. I didn't know any better back then. (I've been using a brush and soap since I was 18 though, learned it from my dad). I heated a bottle of water in my plug-in tea-pot, poured it back into the bottle and poked a hole in the bottle lid to make it a squirt bottle. Outside the tent we had a HMMWV truck side-mirror nailed to a pole that we used for shaving, and I shaved there. (we didn't have any sinks or running water).

Nice den. I whish I would have known about the living conditions on KAF before I left. I would have greatly changed my packing list.

So I guess you're not one of the unfortunate souls living in a tent right now. I'm in the NATO dorms, which are currently flooded, luckily I'm on the top floor.

One of these days soon, I'll take an updated picture of my den and post it. It has changed since my initial pictures.
