As one of the younger (just guessing) members of this forum at the age of 28, I'd say that the popularity of classic shaving has increased in correlation of hipsters.
Craft beer, dressing snazzy, cafe`s, etc. Add in the fact that SR shaving has virtually no waste (it's green!) and that there are shaving soaps out there with natural ingredients....one can see how they could be drawn to it.
Plus you look really cool doing it 😎
