Pipe smoking in fiction (novels, TV, movies)

In Irving Wallace's The Seven Minutes from 1969, attorney Mike Barrett carries, fills, lights, and smokes an "English shell briar," also described as a "shell pipe." Wallace, I guess, was trying to tell us Barrett smoked a Dunhill without actually saying Barrett smoked a Dunhill.

The Twilight Zone episode "The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank".

At his own funeral, Jeff climbs out of his coffin, leading the townsfolk to believe he has been possessed by Satan himself.

Here, a match seems to ignite itself, as he lights his bent billiard.

Kramer dons his Dr Van Nostrund personna in an attempt to access Elaine's medical file which she believes contains derogatory notes from previous appointments.

Looks like a billiard, maybe a Canadian:

Dunno if it was already mentioned but someone was smoking a Falcon in the bar scene from Rebel Moon pt1. I guess it looked futuristic.

In case anyone wondered if I watch anything other than cartoons, bad comedy, and sci-fi "B" movies...

Lots of smoking going on in 12 Angry Men, mostly cigarettes...typical of 1957, I suppose.

In these screenshots, John Fiedler clutches his pipe while conversing with Jack Warden before their jury gets to the business of rendering their verdict in a murder trial. Hard to tell what shape it is, maybe a straight pot?

In the second pic he smokes the pipe as the jury foreman, played by Martin Balsam, addresses his fellow members of the jury.

Looks like a straight acorn.

In the 2020s version of All Creatures Great and Small, Siegfried Farnon, the senior vet at the Yorkshire veterinary clinic, is often shown smoking his pipe. Season Four, Ep. Two, even has a smoking subplot: He has given up the pipe for Lent, and it is making him irritable. His housekeeper, Mrs. Hall, has hidden his tobacco and he keeps hunting for it. At the end he does make it to Easter, and we see him using his lighter to fire up a bowl at his desk.

The pipe looks to be the same in most scenes, a straight or very lightly bent smooth apple.
