On a cool rainy day in the Rio Grande Valley; KG S VaPer 2.0 in a Falcon; Sutliff Match 20 in a customized Christmas Cob; the Plum Pudding I didn't get to last night. Coffee w/heavy cream on the side.
Great pic, sir.
Trying the Stokkebye PS41 Cube Cut in my Peterson 440 straight billiard. I loaded it in the pipe last night and loved the aroma and a bit of "toasted" taste; but it proved hard to keep lit. The same again this morning. The cubes felt dry, and I loaded using gravity fill and gave the load just a tiny finger tap before lighting, but the stuff refuses to stay lit. I thought that was one of the attractions of cube-cut tobacco, that it would load and burn easily.
Then I'll try leaving it out on a saucer for a while before I smoke this again. Maybe, as you suggest, a little of another blend mixed in would help too.I find cube cut and plug tobaccos can often feel drier than they truly are if thickly cut. I also try to keep some shag cut to hand, to help get stubborn tobacco lit.

A labor of love, but I've seen some people break up or shred some the cubes by hand or with a sharp knife into kindlingTrying the Stokkebye PS41 Cube Cut in my Peterson 440 straight billiard. a pipe instead of a workout
The trouble is, if I continue in that order, pretty soon it'll be very hard to exercise at all. Which I've been doing far longer than I've been smoking a pipe. This is a man with his priorities in order.
