GIVEAWAY! Participation PIF - Rembrandt's Shaving Masterpiece

Rembrandt's Shaving Masterpiece

You've chosen to spend the day at the Louvre. As you move from painting to painting, admiring each work for its amazing story that it portrays, you hear a quiet whisper. Pssst, you there, with the two day old whiskers. You look around, there's no one close to you. You hear the whisper again. Pssst, hey, wolfman, is your razor broken?!? As you rub your chin, feeling the stubble, you notice one of the portraits of the artist, Rembrandt, the Dutch master artist himself, famous for capturing the emotion in the eyes. Your own eyes widen as he offers you his very razor!! Try this, my fuzzy faced friend; it's already loaded with one of my namesake blades!!

Yes!! Rembrandt himself is reaching from out of his self-portrait to bestow upon you the opportunity to use his namesake masterpiece blade - the Rembrandt Super Stainless Blades!! As a historical sidenote, Rembrandt was also famous for painting several clean-shaven selfies!!

This Participation PIF is open to any and all (International and CONUS B&B'ers)!! No matter where you live, these history Rembrandt Super Stainless Blades will fit your razor!!

These historic Rembrandt Super Stainless Blades still shave!! At the urging of @Space_Cadet, I tried one of these (older than me) foil wrapped Rembrandt Super Stainless Blades, and I was able to push the blade for 8 shaves!! I won't tell you that I used a slightly more aggressive razor than I normally do (performing wonderfully in a Gillette Parat), since I don't want to influence any of your choices!!

(I think it's an ad. I can't read Dutch.)

Translation?
This man is known in his family as the "tea-headed one". Have you ever seen him? You will have noticed that, in addition to a balanced sense of tea, he also has a particularly smooth-shaven face. No wonder, this man shaves .......with Rembrandt.

Is it swell time?
Calling @Guido75 !! Make sense out of the Rembrandt ad above. Please!!
John! Ehhhh….I read the original as well, but this one of those lame ads I fear. No idea what they are rambling about. The only thing I kan come up with is that the Dutch word for cup is kop and koppig in English is something like stubborn. So a mild play on words between kop and koppig. But other than that I fail to see…or wait…I am not sure if in the days of this ad we were actually such tea drinkers. So maybe they are playing to him being the odd one out and drinking tea rather than coffee (I think the majority still drinks more coffee than tea around here) - so imagine shaving with Rembrandt razor blades.

For your info Rembrandt also produced safety razors to go with the blades. They have similarities to Gillettes Old Type. I think they were made by Gladweg (another Dutch brand).

Cool ad! And another super blade PIF by @Grundi and @Space_Cadet!

Indeed, as @Guido75 stated, a very lame add text ;-) What is noticeable, is that they state that the blades are "hol geslepen", meaning hollow sharpened? No idea what they mean by that, but then I have never sharpened a knife or razor.

10 blades for 75 cents at that time, and if you didn't like them, you could return them with the ticket and have your money refunded ;-)

BTW: great PIF, not in this time (even though I am Dutch too)
