The blade is slowing done. After three passes I could still feel some stubble and because I am using a little extra pressure to try and get the stubble I did have some extra sting when I used my Alum Block. Two more shaves and it will all be over.

Sometimes I shave and feel as if I had forgotten the blade, no feel at all.....run a finger.....nice cutting
2+ pass shave. It went smooth and feels great.

I think you deserve a new blade for NY eve/ NYs, something smooth and no burning.....

Another great shave, the last for this blade in Round #5. Next up is the Crystal's fifth round.
Today's result was a BBS- with no nicks, weepers, or post-shave irritation.

This morning was shave number thirteen. It is struggling ATG. But I haven’t cut myself and the irritation factor is not as bad as I thought it would be.

I think I took one to seven shaves, and that is a lot of shaves for me!

Vikings at the Gate: Week ten, blade nine, Vikings Sword Super Stainless.​

Vikings at the Gate penultimate shave this morning. Shave number thirteen on my last Vikings Sword Super Stainless blade. I had some extra sting this morning but no real redness and no blood. The blade has definitely been pushed past its limits. I shave before I shower and in the shower when washing my face again I can still feel stubble that has been left behind. The first week was great, the second week not so much. I did want to try these blades for an extra week and I am happy that I tried them for some extra shaves. Let’s see what the last shave brings in the morning.
