What's new

On the bench, Dorko 14 Swedish Steel Re-Scale & Restore.

Hey guys, excuse my naivety, but I have a a question on Swedish steel.

I have a razor, an ARJustice & Co. out of Philadelphia, who was in business from 1880-1920's I believe and it has the word Swedish etched on the blade. I think somebody did this afterwards and it's probably not original, but maybe I'm wrong.

I was wondering if this is the highly esteemed Swedish steel that so many love or was an owner of the razor just a Swede and had it etched it on the blade.. What do you think? Thanks!

Your craftsmanship on the new scales is top notch, really nice work. Call me an old geiser, but I liked the original scales better. I would have buffed the pins and polished the white scales. Making it your own is what it;s all about. :a4:
