What's new

OK, time to confess

i keep mine for times when i am in a rush. i must say that even with few de shaves under my belt they are better than the fusion i used for so many years.

I do have a cheap drug store cartridge razor. I don't use it for shaving but I let my wife shave (dry) those thin hairs on the back of my neck between haircuts.

I have kept my M3... Since I have started DE shaving, I have only used it a couple of times for a quick (2min) shave, when necessary.

I use my M3 razor ONLY when travelling.
Otherwise my beloved Double Edge razors.
DE are much better.
Truly.

Welcome to B&B!

I only use my DE at home, but I travel a lot for work, so I use a cartridge razor on the road.

Keep them around for photographs and reference. I figure as DE shaving grows and the Cartridge business comes to an end the Smithsonian will call or some other museum.:lol::lol:

Can't remember the last time I used a cartridge razor - migrated from electric (*shudder*) to DE, and used the DE the last time I traveled as well.

I have a Fusion handle, an M3 handle, and a Schick Quattro handle; I haven't used any of these razors in over a year.

I have a Sensor Excel that I have used occasionally over the past few months; maybe 5 shaves total in 4 months. I have a NOS Atra handle that I have used a lot. For a few months it was my main weapon. I have a Bump Fighter Trac II style handle and some blades, and I used it quite a bit a few months ago, but I haven't used it in several months.

Right now I am using a G1 Schick injector razor exclusively, but that is subject to change on my whim. My two favorite razors are the injector and the Atra, believe it or not. I haven't yet found a DE razor that compares (for ME, and I'm fully aware that some of it may be operator error). I'm focusing now on using the injector until I get really comfortable with it, to see if it can be as good and as simple as my Atra with practice.

Have a large variety of handles. Don't know why I keep them.

I have a stockpile of (the now hard to get) blades for both a Gillette GII and a Wilkinson Sword Protector which I use occasionally if I'm in a hurry or on the road.
