Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood AS

I tried this when at Cochschaller's place. I really liked the scent but it came ot be too sweet for me through the day, it lasted and lasted when i hoped it would die down.

But when diluted with the normal BR..... excellent! It does seem to last a long time (which I like).

I'm pretty sure Ogallala has no alcohol in it so it should be ok for you.

Witch hazel is the first ingredient, but alcohol is also listed.

I usually dilute my strong aftershaves with witch hazel. I'll have to try adding BR to the sandalwood.

Ah ok I get zero burn from it so surely there's not a lot of alcohol in it.

Supposed to be delivered today, I'm excited to try it tonight (3rd shift job so I shave at night), so I'll be sure and put in my .02¢

All I gotta say is DAMN. This stuff is awesome. I'm really surprised at the strength/stay time. I put some on this morning when I got it (couldn't wait til I shave) and ~8h later still a faint smell. Like someone else said, the smell is intoxicating, neither one overpowers the other, they blend well. But more importantly my face feels great. I thought it would be oily since the oil globs are floating around but it's surprisingly light. top notch AS

At great expense I got a bottle of the double strength reserve from a ebay seller in the UK. I was really disappointed in it's staying power. I know most bay rums don't linger, apart from the no longer produced BB cologne, but I had hoped it would last a few hours. It was sweeter and more clove-like than I would have preferred.

I've decided to use it when i want a splash and wear a complimenting sandalwood cologne. As the bay rum fades, the sandalwood remains.
