* Matjaz, wonderful pic and good luck with The Cobra!
Thank you, celestino. :) The Cobra is a magnificent razor. It feels so natural to use and it really isn't as agressive as some reviews might have you belive.

Loving that all-amber brush!

* Thanks, Matjaz!

I didn't find the Cobra too aggressive, but those darn Feather blades were too sharp and unforgiving for me. I also never like the handle on the Cobra. However, I hope you enjoy it!

:lol: Somehow I thought you might call attention to the brush. Yes, Celestino, after going two days without using a brush, this morning's shave truly was a treat!

Speaking of brushes, that's a lovely shot of your Briarwood today! :thumbup:

Thanks, I only wish the shave had gone better! First nick in months, I was in a hurry this morning.

* Well, Doug, it does happen to us all, sometimes. I hope it goes better, tomorrow. :biggrin1:

* Thanks, Jim. I really should try to get one of those brushes you have, but they only come in 24mm or less, correct?

For the Rubberset 400, a 24mm knot is a perfect fit. I went with a TGN 24mm Manchurian and set the loft at 53mm-- great for either face or bowl lathering. I recall that at least one B&B member enlarged the ferrule/collar and trimmed the knot plug to fit a 26mm knot. I would be reluctant to go that far myself, but it certainly can be done.

* Keith, fantastic picture! How do you like the soap?

Thanks celestino. I've been using the soap for most of my shaves for a while now and I really like it. It gives me lots of nice, slick and cushiony lather. The only issue I really have is that the scent has faded quite a lot. It had been sitting uncovered in the Muhle shave mug since Christmas so I know why the scent has faded.

It only costs like €5 and buying it supports an Irish company, so that's just a bonus.

Lovely black and white picture from you today.

How are the Mystic Waters soaps? I still have a stupid amount of soaps to get through before buying more but it's always good to plan ahead :lol:

Keith, thank you for your kind words. :blush:

Personally, I think Mystic Water is a fantastic soap with the best scents I have tried, so far. Supporting a small artisan and a great value for the soap, as well.
Some folks have issues with lathering it, but I have never had any issues. If you want, I can send you some to try. :biggrin1:

Sure, why not?? It would be rude of me to say no to that offer :biggrin1:
