NOS vs Re-plated

It’s not fun. I’ve gotten a lot sent to me misrepresented and selling anything can be difficult.

You‘ve been here long enough though, Put a want to buy ad up with what you’re looking for in specific. Someone here has it and might be willing to part with it without too much hassle.
Good advice - I'm a user not a collector - have a 1959 Fat Boy and every so often think about getting a Slim but not sure I want to return to wet shaving and give it a more serious and dedicated effort - I didn't think the shave with the Fat Boy was that great but to be fair I need to put in
more time .

I concur. Wikipedia's definition:"New old stock (NOS), or old stock for short, refers to aged stock of merchandise that was never sold to a customer and is still new in original packaging."

Condition that are easy to understand are:

NEW in Sealed Box

New in Non Seal Box

New in Open Box

NOS is just that Old Stock, but still NEW in one of three categories above.

Like New is USED, with minor Use, but could fool someone.

As I have bought & sold Pool Cues over years, some people say TEST HIT. To me TEST Hit has been played with and is not DEAD NEW NEVER HIT.

Buyer beware of scam artists, Sellers treat buy like you want to be treated as Buyer.

GOLDEN RULE is great rule.
