NOS Filarmonica Question?!

You should get the round nose for you, and also pick up the spike point for me.

I think the fears of a spike point are exaggerated. My first razor was a square point and it only bit me once or twice, and it wasn't that bad. Just enough to let me know that I needed to pay closer attention to WTH I am doing.

The square point is better for trimming, you know exactly where the cutting edge ends, with a round nose it's not as easy to see where the cutting edge stops, IMO.

+1

The round point is more forgiving and the square point will bite you more easily if you're not carefull. On the other hand, a square point will be more useful when shaving those tricky areas like around the adam's apple, for ex.
Personally I prefer squares and spanish points over round points.

You are a lucky man. I have three Fillys and they are by far the best razors I have - so smooth and consistent and perfect. My dream would be a seven day set of 13s, all different colours. I like square a round points about the same, depends on the day. It's nice to have choices! By the way, if you are divulging info as to the vendor of such razors, ahem.......

well I went searching on ebay for fili's. I found a vendor selling multiple listings and asked to purchase some. He has doble temple and barbas duras models NOS but realy expensive. His feedback is 100% on 500 listings so i'm guessing hes ok. what do you think?
