Ive purchased two or three pens from China with no problems. I suppose it could depend on which part of the world its coming from.

They're coming from the Netherlands... meaning customs will have the drug sniffing dogs comb over it a few times.

I don't expect the one from Japan to come for a while.

I havnt gotten in that deep yet. I do find my spending limit increasing as I go. Vintage things appeal to me and fountain pens are no exception.

The first two Pelikans I got came from Germany and took two weeks. We shall see how long the third takes.

In what took only a couple of days from Japan, my Sailor Young Profit with a zoom nib arrived today. It can be seen in the Handwritten thread, along with the Montblanc Carlo Collodi ink that I received yesterday.

And should you go look at it, you will know exactly why I never take pictures.

Meanwhile... my Watermans are still hanging out somewhere between here and the Netherlands.

I live in Iowa and tracking seems to jump from China to Chicago. Ive never been able to tell which coast they come in on. The quickest I have received one from China was 11 days.
