I've been known to enjoy the odd bottle of broon dog, it's my go-to beer in places that have crap draught. However, I much prefer to nip North o' the border for a pint of McEwan's 80 shilling.

I was in the toon, this time last year. My Brother in law is from Newcastle, liked the beer before I liked the city. We'll go back someday

Newcastle is a drink of choice for me. I don't think I'd drink 10 at once, but it is very tasty. I'd rather drink Two Brothers or Dogfish Head beers any day over Bud, or Coors, or Miller.

New Castle? Meh. I used to like it, but with so many better tasting beers being brewed right here in the good 'ol USA I don't even look at it any more.

Now a proper Guinness/Bass black and tan is a different matter all together.
