Razor: Gillette NEW Long Comb
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (D1)
Post: Stirling witch hazel, PAA Mysterium Serum
First time shaving with a Gillette NEW Long Comb razor. I was totally amazed by this shave. The razor was just the right amount of efficiency with just the right amount of blade feel (not overly aggressive). The shave was amazingly close. This was probably the best vintage DE shave to date.

Vintage April has been a good opportunity to use razors that normally don't get much use. Case in point, the Gillette New Short Comb. The shave was good, but more risky feeling than other razors I gravitate towards. The Cella red stood out with super rich lather and the TRC brush was a pleasure to use.
