What's new

My wife likes Lilac Vegetal but she really hates...

Have you ever tried the Fool's Gold Loaf? It was a favorite of The King's, served at a five-star restaurant in Denver. It's a whole, hollowed out loaf of French bread, a whole jar of peanut butter, another whole jar of grape jelly, and a whole pound of bacon (yes, bacon). It was so named because the price, back in the 1970s, was around $50 a sandwich. Elvis once made a special flight with some friends to Denver in the middle of the night just to have some of the sandwiches (22, to be exact). I made a pint-sized version once, and I have to admit, it was pretty tasty, although insanely decadent. Man, Elvis sure knew how to clog his arteries - and his colon.

You know, that actually sounds pretty good. In a, "I won't be eating for two days afterward" kinda way.

Hater from Decatur... It does have a nice ring to it!

I may or may not have a red & black bulldog guarding my front porch, but that is about as red as I get. I am an Army brat, and while I ended up at UGA, I actually grew up more of a Tech fan.

On the ladies front... yeah, there's not much comparison, but I am sure you were able to find a few girls that didn't look so bad once they got into their Star Wars & Star Trek costumes! :001_tt2:

Truth be told, I still have a soft spot for Tech whenever they play someone else. I didn't know how to feel when the Johnson family (yes, that one) joined my church, but they are good people.

Hey, some of my best friends are Techmites, not that there's anything wrong with that...

Yeah it was amazing how fast the Princess Lea costumes sold out every year! Yeah, CPJ really seems to be a heck of a nice guy and definitely one of the better coaches in the game. And don't worry, I don't hate UGA grads.......I'm married to one. Although it makes for some interesting conversations on Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah I remember hearing about this on a tv show a few years back. I have to admit it sounds pretty tasty to me. Of course I'd probably eat asphalt if it had bacon on it.

I think this would be a perfect vehicle.
