My New TI Grelot-Like, Extra Thick Grind

These are new "grelot-form" razors. I have one of the basic ones too - lovely razor and awesome shave....that is until I dulled it by trying to get some small corrosion off it (they attract rust like flies to a big fat pile of..... you know what I mean). The shave from them is so smooth and they fee very comfortable. Only problem for me is stropping them because I wish to tang was a bit thicker than it is. Also, they are a real pain to hone (more so than the normal hollow ground TI).
I have to confess I've been sorely tempted by one of those for a while. My straights are all vintage, and all bar one are full hollows - the other is a Joseph Rodgers 1/4 hollow, which I've only just bought and haven't honed yet, but it just feels right in my hand.
I also want to get at least one decent modern razor. I'm not interested in fancy scales or engravings, and just want a nice blade pattern with a good edge made from good steel. I'm actually a lover of Japanese steel, but I can't really spring for a kamisori right now - but that TI made from Carbonsong C135 looks like it ticks all the boxes at an attractive price.

Update: Reading back over my post, I've convinced myself - I've ordered one

My TI arrived today, thanks to quick service from TheInvisibleEdge.co.uk (no connection - just a first-time customer), and it immediately felt great in the hand - the weight and balance feels just right to me.
I'd also been letting my stubble grow for a few days in anticipation, to give me something worthwhile to shave with it. And it was really good - a very keen and smooth edge, and a very comfortable shave.
