With my blacks, I put a new blade in on Sundays and Thursdays, I don’t count shaves, but often take Sundays off. So I’m getting either 3 or 4 shaves per blade but no more.

Then again, I’ve never heard anyone say something good about Strangelets

just tried a Perma-Sharp for the first time and it was fantastic in my Henson. Sharp as a GSB, but without all the tugging they usually give me. A solid shave this evening and I look forward to trying out some new blades I just ordered from Maggards as well.
Just did a new Voskhod in my Henson with a very nice result.
But I've yet to have a bad result, so there's that.

Well, I think I found my new favorite blade. The Gillette 7 O’Clock Yellows are AMAZING in the Henson. One of the best shaves I have ever had. Never tried one before, but so glad I did
I have a tuck of those. I’ll need to try them out and see if they can dethrone Astra SP for me

It’s definitely a YMMV thing, but I found them smoother than the Astras for my own face. Within the first few passes, I knew this would be my new go-to

Another shave with my Henson tonight and it was amazing. This DE is just “easy mode” when it comes to shaving. So good
I have had mine nearly 2 weeks and I'm still amazed at how easy it is to use.
I love the polarization discussions of the Henson. Totally ymmv.
It Works for me for a CCS. I currently like the mild best and then med(don’t have one at the moment). The mild for an everyday shave if needed is quick, easy and safe. Having both can be considered a bit redundant Since they are pretty similar.
I think Henson said they sold about 90% mild about a year back - but don’t quote me on that.
