My Guess... 3017

Victory! Finished Mike’s Babershop today with shave #210. Excellent soap and I am glad I have 3.5 refill pucks in storage.

Moved to Tabarko for Tabactober and will be 3017-ing that together with Hampshire Wool Fat. Both are magnificent soaps in my view. If the LOTH can tolerate the scent of Tabarko it might even be a candidate for my desert island soap.

Art of Shaving tallow lemon gave up its last shave this morning. World class from first to last shave. It was indifferent to shaving brushes performing superbly with anything. Very lightly scented, but still enough to be enjoyable. I also finished a matching travel sized AOS lemon aftershave balm I’ve had in to Dopp kit for a while.

Up next, one of the few worthy to follow up AOS tallow, a puck of Haslinger tallow sage to welcome in some cooler fall weather.

Valobra (AoS tallow) to Haslinger tallow is about as good as it gets.

My TFS Rasozero Agrumella is nearing its end and I think I have lined up my next few soaps. Starting in a week (or two or three or four or ... ???), I will begin a run of five(5) RazoRock soaps. American Barber is first on the list:

My fifth kill of the year and although I got a little impatient near the end I thoroughly enjoyed using this soap and everything from the shaves to the lathers to the scent were excellent, definitely one I would buy again though I'd quite like to try some of their other offerings.
Next up a mostly used Proraso white my kids have abandoned.

The soap lasted a bit longer than expected, but I enjoyed using it. I still have have quite a few other soaps to work through, so there's absolutely no need to consider replacing it.

But yes, it would be beneficial to always name soaps as, while the poster knows exactly what soap he's talking about, the rest of us have to search post histories unless the container's label is shown. Even if a previous post was simply the day before, there can be lots of other posts in between.

On the other hand, it's simply more practice using the SEARCH function for me. But ... I'm almost always on a PC and not using a smurt fone.

ZM Explorer is on its last legs after 75 3017 shaves plus I'd guess more than 50 before I started. It's lasted a lot longer than I thought, but I really would like to see the last of it now

Some days I feel unworthy in this group. I am getting near the bottom of a puck of Tabac. I will probably finish it next month and it will be my second 3017 kill since Feb 2019... My trusty sipson #56 is resting and my plissoft brush is doing a great job of turning Tabac into a nice lather. I just don't seem to be able to load as heavily as a normal person.

Last shave with the TFS Rasozero Agrumella this morning and it was a pretty good soap, as were the other TFS Rasozero products I used. If I didn't have a load of other soaps, this could easily be a repurchase.

Tomorrow I will start using my Razorock soaps and aftershaves, starting with American Barber.

Are you serious, you killed a kilo brick of soap, day after day, year after year. The most I do is commit to a tub of soap for 2 or 3 months, and I have to take 2 days off a week to use something else. It's not about the numbers, it's about the intention.

Dude-You’re so worthy. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon and everyone’s race is their own. You do your own thing and stick with it no matter how long it takes. RESPECT.

I am profligate with my lathering in the name of both a good shave and finishing the soaps. Works for me.

First shave with the RR American Barber this morning and it was nice enough, even if the "new to me" soap learning curve meant a reload between passes. The scent is stronger than I am used to as well. We will see if wifey comments about the matching aftershave.
