I actually washed off some Panama 1924 today when I felt some dragging on my razor. I re-lathered by hand with Mountain Sky and had a great finish to my shave. The difference in shaving quality with the slightest variable is remarkable. High mountain white badger vs. Silver tip? Time consuming lathering and sprinkling of additional water on the brush while lathering trying to achieve exactly the right consistency. Start to shave and quickly realize it’s wrong. To heck with that. I’m just going to keep applying this soap by hand. Perfect every time. Great protection and feel, especially after. I’m done with a brush and soap in a bowl forever.
